Go Speed Racer Go!!!

오늘 아침 CGV에서 IMAX로 스피드 레이서를 보고 왔다.
9:30걸로 조조할인 받아서 1인당 9000원에 봤다 후후

IMAX에서 뭐 보기는 2003년 미국에서 다큐멘터리 본 이후로 정말 오랜만인듯. 영화를 보기는 처음이고… 확실히 스크린 엄청나게 크다. 상영관에 들어가자마자 느껴지는 크기의 포스..  너무 커서 영화 보는 도중에 눈이 이쪽 저쪽으로 돌아가기까지 했다.

뭐 어쨌든,

 

이 영화, 장난이 아니다.

진짜, 처음에 트레일러 보고 확실히 좀 “특이해서” 또 스토리 없고 그래픽만 있는 이상한 영화가 아닌지 했는데, 정말 보고 감격할정도로 잘 만든 영화였다!

번쩍거리고 화려한 CG 외에도 온 가족이 보기에도 좋은 스토리와 교훈(?)들이 있었다.  실제로 마지막 레이스는, 아 정말 너무 웅장하고 감격스러워서 눈물이 글썽거렸다.

아직 못 보시거나 보실 생각이 없으셨던 분들… 꼭 보시길 추천합니다.

그리고, IMAX로 보는것도 좋은 아이디어… 확실히 레이스다 보니 화면 움직임이 엄청나게 빠르고 번쩍거리고 정신없는데다가 특히 다른 영화보다도 색감이 풍부(?)하다 보니 좀 어지러울수 있지만, 그 웅장함은 비교가 안 되는… 🙂

Today morning I watched Speed Racer in the theaters.
I watched the very first session in 9:30AM, and so tickets were cheaper 😛

Also, I watched it in IMAX. It’s been a long time since I’ve watched anything in IMAX… AFAIK, the under-sea documentary film that I watched during my visit to the US in 2003 was the last one I saw. Seriously, it’s BIG. From the moment I entered the room I felt the greatness of the screen. I even had to turn my eyes here and there during the movie.

OMG, This movie is fricken AWESOME.

At first when I saw the trailer in the theaters before Iron Man began, I doubted if this was just another movie with rad graphics and no story, but that was WRONG. It has a firm storyline with running themes and morals… Apart from great CG and breathtaking action racing scenes, it’s a great family story. The last racing scene was so grand and impressive that I almost cried. 🙂

If you didn’t see it yet or maybe didn’t plan to watch this… grab a ticket right now and Go watch this movie!!!

Watching in IMAX was certainly a good idea. I mean, since this is a “racing” movie there’s gotta be large, fast, “moving” scenes… and so why not watch it BIG, which will feel like you’re into the race? 🙂

Well though it’s quite more flashy and fast-paced than other movies and you might feel a bit dizzy, but NOTHING can compare to the grandness of the race on a big screen.
