닉네임을 zvuc으로 변경합니다.

오늘자로 정식으로 인터넷상의 닉네임을 기존의 kimatg에서 zvuc으로 변경합니다.

트위터는 이미 전부터 @zvuc으로 바꿔서 쓰고 있었고, 이후에 만든 계정은 (사클 등)몇개는 zvuc으로 만들어서 썼었는데, 아직 블로그라든지 기존에 있던 계정들은 그대로 kimatg로 쓰고 있었네요. 블로그의 닉을 바꾸는것을 시작으로 다른 것들도 하나하나 바꿔나갈 생각입니다.

zvuc은 ‘즈북(zvuk)’이라고 읽습니다. 러시아어의 ‘звук‘에서 따온 말로, 의미는 ‘소리‘입니다. 제 본명의 의미가 ‘하나의 소리’이니 기존의 별 의미 없던 닉인 kimatg보다는 훨씬 의미가 맞는 닉이라고 할 수 있겠네요. 제 취향대로 독특하면서도 최대한 짧아서 기억하기 쉬운 단어를 고르다보니 러시아어 어원에서 찾게 되었습니다.

예전부터 절 알아오셨던 분들은 ‘키마’가 익숙하시면 그대로 부르셔도 큰 상관은 없습니다만, 되도록이면 바뀐 닉네임으로 불러주시멷 감사하겠습니다^^

Hereby I announce that my nickname has officially changed from ‘kimatg’ to ‘zvuc’.

In fact I already changed my twitter username to @zvuc some time ago, and other accounts opened after the nick change (such as soundcloud) already use the new nickname–but other online identities including my blog still had the old ‘kimatg’. So today I changed the blog admin nick, and will change nicks in other services as well, slow but surely.

zvuc is read as ‘zvuk’. It’s derived from the Russian word ‘звук‘, meaning ‘sound‘. Since my real name’s meaning is “one sound,” I guess the new nick fits the meaning much better, as my old ‘kimatg’ didn’t really have any meaning. I was looking for a unique yet short name that’d be easy to remember and decided to take a word from Russian (which would be obviously more unique than any other nick derived from English/Latin!)

People who had known me since some time before and if you feel comfortable to call me ‘kimatg’, you can–I won’t mind too much. But still I’d appreciate if you’ll call me with the new nick ‘zvuc’. 🙂
